What a slacker!!! No excuse other than I have just been lazy… I did spend the last part of the week sick though so does that make me look a little better? No? Well, that’s what I figured
Thanks go out to my wonderful daughter Sara for giving everyone here in the house another dose of the creeping crud. She spent the first 3 days of the week sick with the flu, then she gave it to baby, then on Thursday I woke up sick
I took Thursday and Friday off from work and Alex ended up sick too. Friday afternoon hubby came home from work sick… So the entire family took their turns this past week. Hopefully it is all over now and will be a memory by time Thanksgiving rolls around. The kids are all coming over so I have dinner to make, house to clean, and on Friday we are driving to Ohio to visit hubby’s mom for the weekend. Its an 8 hour drive so we will head back Sunday morning to be here in time for work Monday morning
ugh! I don’t like busy weeks like this…. I had my appointment with the Rheumatology Dr. a couple weeks ago. Not a whole lot of news at this point. She says at the very least I show positive for Fibromyalgia… But my SED rate is pretty high and that isn't something that goes along with Fibro. So she drew more blood, took more x-rays and made another appt for me to come back next month when all the blood tests will be back from the lab in California. When I know more I will let you know. The gynecology appt was pushed back another month too. Wouldn’t you know… I wait a month to get in to see the Dr and then on the morning of my appt I am sick with the flu
Oh well…. Things haven’t changed in that department either…. There really isn't a lot of anything to report, even though my daughter Lily says my life isn't that boring
News from the bus is that the 3 boys causing me all the headaches were kicked off the bus for one week. They came back last week and about the 3rd day one of the other students came up to me and quietly said “I don’t want to sit by ***** cuz he has lice and I don’t want it!” Well, you could have dropped a bomb on me! No one told me they have been sent home a few times now with head lice… All 3 boys in the family…. So I moved the one student to another seat and when I got home called the Principal. He told me that head lice is not considered anything other than a nuisance now so they don’t send kids home anymore. I said that’s just great… I ride the bus, my little girl rides the bus, my other 2 kids ride the bus and 48 other students ride the bus… I guess we aren’t concerned with infecting other kids anymore….. So who knows what the new policy on that will turn out to be?Still remodeling around here… Next on the list is getting a new septic system put in. Before we can do that though hubby needs to get the new plumbing lines from the toilets ran because the tank is being put in a new place and so we need all new lines.. We can’t go without the toilets so we need all that done before the old lines are disconnected… The work just never ends…. Now, hubby just needs to find the time to get it done. If all works out well we might have the drywall up in the livingroom/diningroom before Xmas this year…. We did get the hot tub deck finished and the hot tub is in its new home
We actually sat and soaked for the first time a few nights ago. It felt soooo good on my sore body
I am glad we got that part all finished…..That’s about all I can really think of right now…. I hope everyone is doing fine. I have been checking back and forth on you all… Now I need to go leave some lovies
Have a nice Sunday evening xanga buds

Hello.... thanks for dropping by! Since I talked to Lily, Leanne is out of the hospitol, and is doing, ok! She is able to drive again, and isn't on permanent bed rest anymore. She can walk a little bit, but after awhile gets dizzy and has to sit down. The baby is doing better. It's heartbeat and everything else is perfectly healthy, and Leanne hasn't had any more seizures since she was in the hospitol, so the gap in the babies brian hasn't gotten any bigger. The doctors say if she doesn't have any more seizures before she gives birth, the gap is small enough to where they can do surgery and it will just be a bit slower then other kids and have a speech imparement problem. So it looks like everything will be ok after all, so thats good. Thanks for the concern, Leanne says she appreciates it!! Loves, Jenn
Thanks for stopping by yesterday! I have sort of been a xanga slacker myself, lately. Hope your family is over your bug quickly so that you can enjoy Thanksgiving! Take care~Laurel

Sara
Sounds like you've been busy! ^_^ Hope things get better soon! yeah, the party was totally awesome! It was really nice to have so many of my friends in the same place! I'm glad Miranda had fun! ??? Dad's always smoked...or at least I thought so. Dad is Lyle...if you didn't know. I don't call Cort 'dad' anymore since he never has really acted like one. So Lyle is Dad since he married mom. ^_^ And to tell the truth, I'd rather think of him as my bilogical dad anyway. the majority of my friends say i look like him, and nothing like Cort. >_> lol, I wouldn't have it any other way! ^_^ I don't think the majority of my friends know mom or dad's names...they're just mom and dad. lol! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!! *~¤Katy¤~*
So glad to hear from you. I missed reading your post.I haven't been on much either, but with the weather getting colder I'll be on more.
Sounds like your going to have a housefull of love on Thanksgiving! It will just be me , the hubby and the kids. His parents don't like to travel and I don't have any family that I can tolerate for even a day lol!
As I said I don't really have any close family and my first hubby kept me from making any friends,(yes he was a butthead) and I lived in another state when I was young and the butthead chased all my childhood friends away.
Now I have a wonderful hubby, but we live in the country so I haven't had much of a chance to meet any new people, thank goodness for the internet lol. As we get closer to the day of Thankfullness I want you to know that I am truly thankfull for you and your friendship it means more to me than I can say!
As always your in my prayers!
Snuggles! Maggie
p.s. I've delted your e-mail from my site so no one else can get ahold of it.
